Concerned about our impact on the environment, we place great emphasis on respecting the energy consumption of our ecological campsite.
That’s why we decided to set up an environmental charter, in addition to being awarded the Clef Verte label.
For you, for us and for future generations, we do everything we can to minimize the impact of our activities on the environment.
We raise awareness among our teams and customers
Thanks to training on corporate social responsibility, environmental protection and sustainable tourism issues, we have begun to implement awareness-raising measures at the campsite:
★ We ask our teams to adopt “eco-friendly practices” in their daily tasks.
★ Our suppliers are chosen in part based on their level of commitment to these values.
★ We provide our customers with information booklets and an arboretum on the plants at the campsite in Erquy.
Water and energy savings
To reduce our water and energy consumption, at the Green Key-labeled campsite, we have installed:
★ Water economizers on taps and showers to avoid depleting the resource
★ A water recuperator to water green spaces and thus limit the use of drinking water
★ Presence/timer detectors in common areas to limit energy wastage
★ Solar panels for hot water and a contract with a green energy supplier
Then there are a whole host of small, everyday gestures that make a big difference:
★ Every month, we read our water and electricity meters to better manage our consumption
★ We use rainwater to flush our toilets
★ We replace every light bulb with an LED or low-energy bulb (already more than 80% of our lighting is equipped with one).
And we continue to do so as we develop our business.
Customer well-being
Consuming better without depriving yourself! In our grocery store, you’ll find many products from our region, sourced directly from producers.
In the kitchen, our meals are prepared using seasonal and local produce, while adapting to certain special diets. Our restaurant/snack menus feature organic and/or fair-trade products.
When it comes to maintenance, all our products are eco-labeled for better air quality and fewer health risks. At the ecological campsite, we limit the use of bleach-based products, which are irritating to the respiratory tract and toxic to aquatic organisms.

★ All our green spaces are maintained without pesticides and we use alternative methods to products to control weeds
★ We work with battery-powered equipment to avoid noise pollution
★ We have partnerships with local ressourceries to donate our old equipment/furniture

Zero waste camping in Erquy
Waste management cannot be achieved without everyone’s involvement. We have already implemented a number of actions to limit and sort waste:
★ Setting up several selective sorting points (all our rental units are equipped with a pre-collection bin)collection)
★ The sorting of all types of waste (including bio-waste for recovery by our hens and our composter)
★ Hospitality products are only available on request to limit the production of packaging waste
★ The majority of our products are in bulk or in large packaging to avoid unnecessary packaging
★ The implementation of displays to support our customers in the sorting gesture, in compliance with local regulations
★ We don’t offer disposable crockery and provide reusable eco-cups during our stays.
But we’re still a long way from achieving this ambition, which requires a great deal of involvement and awareness on the part of everyone, from suppliers to holidaymakers.
